Job Description
We are hiring a QA Automation Engineer with strong expertise in Playwright using Type Script , combined with a solid foundation in manual testing . This role requires someone who can independently handle test automation while also performing thorough manual testing to ensure overall product quality. Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and maintain automated test suites using Playwright with Type Script Perform manual testing including functional, regression, smoke, sanity, and exploratory testing Create detailed test cases, test scenarios, and test plans from requirements and user stories Execute and maintain End-to-End (E2 E), integration, and UI tests Identify, document, track, and verify bugs with clear reproduction steps
Work closely with developers and product stakeholders to ensure quality throughout the development lifecycle
Ensure adequate test coverage for new features and prevent regressions
Contribute to improving QA processes, standards, and automation reliability
Integrate and run automated tests as part of CI/CD pipelines (where applicable) Mandatory Skills & Qualifications2+ years of proven experience with Playwright for test automation 2+ years of proven experience in Manual Testing Strong proficiency in Type Script Solid understanding of different testing types , including: Functional Testing
Regression Testing
Smoke & Sanity Testing
Integration Testing
End-to-End (E2 E) Testing
Basic API Testing (Postman or similar tools)
Experience in writing and maintaining clear, structured test cases Familiarity with bug tracking and test management tools (Jira or similar)
Good understanding of SDLC and Agile/Scrum methodologies Good to Have (Optional)
Experience integrating Playwright tests with CI/CD pipelines
Basic understanding of performance or security testing concepts
Experience testing modern web applications (SPA, REST APIs)
Familiarity with Git and version control workflows What We’re Looking For
