Job Description
Job Summary: We are looking for two skilled Automation Test Engineers with strong hands-on expertise in Playwright and Java-based test automation. The ideal candidates will be responsible for building robust test automation frameworks, ensuring high-quality releases, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable, scalable products.
Key Responsibilities
+ Design, develop, and maintain automation test scripts using Playwright (UI, API & E2E testing).
+ Build and enhance Java-based automation frameworks for web and backend validation.
+ Analyze requirements, identify test scenarios, and create detailed test plans and test cases.
+ Integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or GitHub Actions.
+ Perform functional, regression, smoke, and integration testing.
+ Investigate defects, perform root-cause analysis, and work with developers to resolve issues.
+ Ensure comprehensive test coverage and maintain high-quality deliverables.
+ Collaborate closely with QA leads, developers, product owners, and DevOps teams.
+ Document test results, maintain reports, and contribute to continuous process improvements.
Required Skills & Expertise
+ Strong hands-on experience with Playwright for automation (TypeScript or Java version).
+ Proficiency in Java, OOP concepts, and test automation frameworks (TestNG, JUnit, Maven/Gradle).
+ Experience in API automation (Rest Assured/Postman/Playwright API).
+ Solid understanding of Web technologies (HTML, DOM, selectors, browser behavior).
+ CI/CD knowledge with Jenkins / Azure DevOps / GitHub Actions
+ Experience with Version Control (Git).
+ Exposure to Docker, cloud test execution (Azure/AWS) is an added advantage.
