JobSummary:

We are looking for a highly skilled and detail-oriented QA Engineer to join our Quality Engineering team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Java-based test automation frameworks, with hands-on expertise in Selenium for web automation,

Appium for mobile testing, and Rest Assured for API automation. You will work closely with developers, product managers, and QA engineers to ensure the delivery of high-quality software.

KeyResponsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Java, Selenium, Appium, and Rest Assured.
  • Work closely with developers and product teams to understand requirements and ensure testability of features.
  • Create and execute automated regression, functional, integration, and API test suites.
  • Participate in code reviews, test plan reviews, and provide feedback on testability and potential quality risks.
  • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated test execution using tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar.
  • Analyze test results and identify bugs or quality issues.
  • Collaborate in Agile/Scrum development processes, including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.

    • Required Skills s Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in test automation with Java.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver for web automation.
  • Experience with Appium for mobile automation (iOS and Android).
  • Proficiency in Rest Assured or similar tools for RESTful API testing.
  • Knowledge of build tools like Maven or Gradle.
  • Experience with version control systems like Git.
  • Familiarity with continuous integration tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI).
  • Solid understanding of QA methodologies, test planning, and defect tracking.

    • PreferredQualifications:

  • Experience with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, Gatling) is a plus.
  • Exposure to BDD frameworks like Cucumber.
  • Familiarity with cloud-based testing platforms (e.g., BrowserStack, Sauce Labs).
  • ISTQB or equivalent certification is a plus.
