Overall Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain automation test scripts and frameworks using Playwright and other toolsCollaborate with QA and development teams to understand testing requirementsDevelop test cases and automate end-to-end test scenariosExecute automated tests and analyze results to identify regressions and defectsIntegrate automation tests into CI/CD pipelines for continuous testingMaintain and improve existing automation frameworks and scriptsTrack, report, and verify bug fixes and improvementsEnsure comprehensive documentation of testing processes and test casesStay updated on latest automation tools and best practicesSoftware Requirements:
Strong experience with test automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Playwright)Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScriptExperience with Playwright automation toolFamiliarity with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI)Knowledge of test management tools like JIRA, TestRailUnderstanding of API testing using tools like Postman or RestAssuredExperience with version control systems (Git)Knowledge of Linux commands and shell scripting is a plusFamiliarity with Docker and containerized testing environments (optional)Category-wise Technical Skills:

Minimum 5+ years of dedicated experience in QA Automation with a focus on Playwright or similar toolsDay-to-Day Activities:
Developing and maintaining automation scripts for UI and API testingReviewing testing requirements and designing automation strategiesExecuting automated test suites and analyzing resultsIntegrating automation tests into CI/CD pipelinesDebugging and troubleshooting automation failuresCollaborating with developers and QA team members to reproduce and resolve issuesUpdating existing frameworks and creating new reusable componentsCreating detailed reports on test execution and defectsQualifications:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fieldProven experience with Playwright and other automation toolsRelevant certifications in testing automation or related fields are a plusSoft Skills:
