QA Engineer
Location: Remote
Role summary: Scrut is looking for a QA Engineer (1–3 years) who will own day-to-day manual testing for our SaaS web application, ensure high product quality, and contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes, documentation, and release readiness. This role is manual-focused but expects curiosity and a growth mindset toward automation and modern QA practices (including using AI tools to speed up test design and analysis).

- Partner with product managers/designers/developers to understand requirements and define quality assurance parameters for features and releases.
- Create and maintain test documentation: test plans, test cases, test data, checklists, and test reports.
