Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled QA Engineer to play a vital role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our cloud-native invoice and payment automation platform. You will balance manual testing expertise with test automation development, creating robust automated test suites while also performing critical exploratory, performance, and manual testing. This position requires both technical expertise in modern automation frameworks and a deep understanding of quality assurance principles for cloud-based, distributed systems. You will work closely with development teams to integrate quality throughout the software development lifecycle, work with DevOps to integrate test automation into our CI/CD pipelines, and help establish testing best practices for applications built on AWS infrastructure.

Essential Functions: Duties and Responsibilities
Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Robot Framework, Selenium, or other modern testing tools for web-based SaaS applicationsCreate comprehensive test strategies for cloud-native applications deployed on AWS, including testing of Lambda functions, microservices, APIs, and serverless architecturesPerform manual exploratory testing to identify edge cases, usability issues, and potential system vulnerabilitiesDesign, execute, and maintain automated regression, functional, integration, and end-to-end testsIntegrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions to enable continuous testingManage test cases, test plans, and test execution results in TestRailDevelop API testing frameworks and scripts to validate RESTful services and event-driven architecturesTest artificial intelligence features including generative AI integrations, OCR capabilities, computer vision models, and classification modelsValidate query performance, and data accuracy in PostgreSQL and SQL Server environmentsCollaborate with developers to ensure application testability and implement testing best practices from the beginning of each projectCreate and maintain test data management strategies for complex financial and payment processing scenariosMonitor and analyze test results, identifying patterns and trends to improve overall qualityDebug test failures and maintain test stability across multiple environments (dev, staging, production)Participate in test planning, requirements reviews, and defect triage meetingsDocument testing procedures, frameworks, test cases, and best practicesConduct performance and load testing to ensure system scalability and reliabilityStay current with industry trends and emerging practices in test automation and quality assuranceMentor team members on testing techniques, automation best practices, and quality mindsetParticipate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily standups, and retrospectivesCritical Deliverables:
