Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Automation Test Engineer with hands-on experience in Python, Cucumber, and Gherkin to design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks and scripts. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of behavior-driven development (BDD) and experience working in Agile environments.

• Design and develop automated test scripts using Python and BDD frameworks like Cucumber with Gherkin syntax.
• Collaborate with developers, product owners, and QA teams to understand requirements and ensure quality coverage.
• Maintain and enhance existing automation frameworks.
• Identify and report bugs and assist with root cause analysis.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
• Execute regression, functional, and performance tests.
• Create clear and concise test documentation and reports.

• Strong experience in test automation using Python.
• Proficient with Cucumber and writing test cases in Gherkin syntax.
• Good understanding of BDD (Behavior-Driven Development).
• Familiarity with Selenium, PyTest, or other relevant test frameworks.
• Experience with version control systems like Git.
• Exposure to CI/CD tools like Jenkins or GitLab CI.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

• Experience with testing REST APIs using tools like Postman or REST-assured.
• Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, or cloud environments (e.g., AWS, Azure).
• Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies.
