Job Description

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the QA team in planning, executing, and reporting on manual and automated tests
  • Develop and implement comprehensive test strategies, plans, and cases
  • Coordinate with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure test coverage
  • Oversee defect tracking, prioritization, and resolution
  • Ensure timely delivery of test results and quality metrics
  • Review test scripts and automation frameworks
  • Guide team members on best QA practices, tools, and methodologies
  • Conduct risk analysis and contribute to go/no-go decisions
  • Continuously improve QA processes, tools, and efficiency
  • Provide mentorship, training, and performance feedback to QA team members
  • Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in QA, with at least 1–2 years in a leadership role
  • Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and QA methodologies
  • Experience with test management and defect tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail)
  • Proficiency in writing and executing test cases (manual and automated)
  • Familiarity with automation tools like Selenium, TestNG, JUnit, or similar
  • Knowledge of API testing (e.g., Postman, REST-assured)
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
