Join our team as a Quality Assurance (QA) Technician at the Charlotte Siemens Energy Central Services, where you will provide essential inspection services both in-process and at final stages. You will meticulously document all findings and results using Quality Control Instructions and Quality Control Charts, ensuring compliance with specifications and standard operating procedures. As a Level II certified technician in Visual Testing (VT), Magnetic Testing (MT), and Penetrant Testing (PT), you will play a crucial role in maintaining the highest quality standards in our operations.

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • You will deliver inspection services throughout the production process, leveraging your 5+ years of quality experience to ensure compliance with all specifications.
  • You will maintain your Siemens Energy Level II certification in VT, MT, and PT, logging required hours and passing necessary exams to stay current.
  • You will validate QA/NDE paperwork for accuracy in the Operating Information Landscape (OIL) and upload reports to SAP, ensuring all documentation is precise.
  • You will conduct in-process and final inspection audits, presenting your findings to management and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
  • You will collaborate with supervisors, engineers, and operators to support manufacturing productivity and efficiency, while also being flexible to work overtime and weekends as needed.
  • What You Bring

  • A High School Diploma or equivalent, along with completion of the Career Readiness Certification required by Siemens Energy.
  • You must be Level II certified in VT, MT, and PT, with at least 5 years of NDE experience in the Power Generation Industry.
  • Proficiency in gauging tools and techniques, including ID/OD micrometers, calipers, and thickness gauges, with a willingness to learn specialty gauging methods.
  • Experience with SAP and OIL operating software systems, enabling you to efficiently manage documentation and reporting.
  • You are legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer-sponsored work authorization.
