Job Title: Quality Assurance (with Service Now knowledge) Location: Bangalore & Hyderabad Look for Immediate joiners only and candidate who are serving NP, Strictly Night Shift Cab facility 5 Days Work from Office Location: Bengaluru & Hyderabad, the 2nd Interview round will be face-to-face. Role Overview: The IT Quality Assurance Analyst is responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of software solutions within a home health organization. This mid-level role develops and executes test plans to verify that technology systems meet business requirements and comply with healthcare regulations. Working in a remote capacity, the IT Quality Assurance Analyst collaborates with developers, business analysts, and clinical teams to deliver high-quality IT solutions, including solutions developed and tested on the ServiceNow platform, that enhance patient care and operational efficiency while aligning with the companys strategic objectives in a home health environment. Key Responsibilities: Develop, maintain, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases to ensure that all software enhancements and new applications function correctly and meet specified requirements. Identify, document, and track software defects and quality issues through to resolution. Work closely with software developers to reproduce bugs, analyse root causes, and verify fixes, ensuring no critical issues are released to production. Validate that IT solutions comply with all relevant healthcare regulations and quality standards, including data privacy/security requirements (e.g., HIPAA) and any applicable Medicare/Medicaid (CMS) guidelines for home health systems. Collaborate with business analysts and developers early in the development cycle to review requirements and design specifications, providing a QA perspective to ensure clarity, completeness, and testability of requirements. Coordinate and participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) with end users and stakeholders in the home health organization. Facilitate UAT sessions remotely, collect user feedback, and ensure the software meets real-world user needs and expectations. Execute functional, regression, and UAT testing for solutions developed on the ServiceNow platform, including scoped applications and configuration-based enhancements. Utilize ServiceNow Test Management 2.0 to manage test cases, test suites, execution cycles, and defect tracking. Validate ServiceNow workflows, forms, business rules, and integrations to ensure they meet documented requirements and do not introduce regressions across existing applications. Monitor and report on QA metrics, such as defect densities and open defect counts, to project teams and IT leadership. Use these metrics to assess the quality health of projects and to recommend improvements to development or testing processes. Work in tandem with cross-functional teams (including IT developers, other Business Analysts, project managers, and clinical operations staff) to ensure that quality assurance activities are aligned with project timelines and organizational goals. Continuously improve QA processes by staying up to date on industry best practices in software testing and quality management. Recommend and implement enhancements such as new testing tools, automated test scripts, or updated QA methodologies to increase efficiency and effectiveness of the QA function. Ensure all testing documentation (test plans, test cases, defect logs, test summaries) is thorough, accurate, and accessible to relevant stakeholders. Maintain clear records to support compliance audits or reviews. Uphold the organizations mission and values by ensuring that technology solutions perform safely and effectively, thereby indirectly supporting high-quality patient care. Perform other duties or projects related to quality assurance as assigned, adapting to the evolving needs of the IT department and the home health business. Required Skills & Qualifications: 36 years in Quality Assurance roles. Experience with Agile and Waterfall methodologies with software development lifecycle and testing frameworks. Experience testing enterprise platforms or low-code/no-code platforms (e.g. ServiceNow), including configuration-driven and scoped application functionality. Experience in a healthcare or other highly-regulated industry a plus. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Proficiency in test planning, execution, and defect tracking. Excellent attention to detail and ability to identify software issues and inconsistencies. Effective communication skills for documenting findings and coordinating with cross-functional teams. Familiarity with QA and collaboration tools such as JIRA, Confluence and ServiceNow Test Management 2.0, including test case creation, execution, and defect tracking. Working knowledge of relevant healthcare regulations and standards (e.g., HIPAA for data privacy, and CMS guidelines for home health) to ensure compliance during testing. Experience with other software QA tools and platforms (e.g., Selenium, Postman, TestRail) is beneficial. Candidates should possess a broad understanding of software testing methodologies applicable to both web-based and enterprise IT systems. Preferred Qualifications: Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) or equivalent preferred. ISTQB Certified Tester or a similar QA certification is preferred. Any additional certifications in software testing or healthcare IT (e.g., CPHIMS) are advantageous. ServiceNow certifications (e.g., Certified Application Developer, Certified Implementation Specialist, or Micro-Certifications related to Test Management) are preferred. Certifications in other QA tools or platforms (e.g., Selenium, ISTQB, CBAP) are advantageous.
