Position Details:

Job Role: QA/QC Engineer

Experience Required : 10+ Years in petrochemical/oil and gas or power generation industry.

Location : Oman

Qualifications: BE/BTech in Engineering

"MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE IN ENGINEERING QA/QC WORK"

Role:

• Implement the quality management standards and practices to ensure compliance to the quality scope requirements.

• Lead inspection recommendations and continuous improvement programs to improve quality, control costs and maintain reliability.

Job Skills:

• English language read, write and speaking to IELTS level 4 or equivalent.
• Able to work with computers, word, excel, and windows.
• Knowledgeable on different pipe, gaskets and bolting materials.
• Knowledgeable on the different welding techniques and their quality requirements.
• Be a qualified Welding Inspector.
• Able to qualify WPSs and Welders.
• Certified ASNT NDT Level II with sound working knowledge of the various NDT techniques.
• Be qualified to interpret radiographs.
• Experienced in ISO 9001: 2000 including auditing.

Principal Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement inspection and test plans.
• Develop and implement QA/QC procedures and ensure activity at the site are as per approved method statement and inspection test plan.
• Carry out the role of Radiation Safety Officer.
• Set up and maintain Quality documents archive.
• Coordinate with the COMPANY for inspection and resolution of any quality problems including the closure of Non-Compliance Report.
• Manage all QA/QC documents of the CONTRACT scope including certificates, calibration, test results, inspection requests, non-compliance reports and site instruction/observations, permanent materials delivered and other QA/QC documents.
• Ensure closure of Non-conformance, NCR and Site Instructions.
