Job Description

The QA/QC Specialist performs real-time analysis and review of extensive documentation required by federal regulations for implementing a direct incentive payment program.

Job Duties

  • Manages intake of funding requests from Case Managers and performs a timely review of supporting documentation related to federal and state grant program claims; accurately validates Case Manager’s determination

  • Serves as first-level funding approval on funding requests/applications; identifies discrepancies in supporting documentation and returns to Case Manager for resolution

  • Ensures proper use of grant funds and adherence to program guidelines; identifies fraudulent applications or activity and prevents inaccurate payments and recapture of funds

  • Uses standardized QA/QC checklists and tools for project files

  • Conducts routine and targeted file reviews to verify completeness, consistency, and compliance with program requirements
