Qualified Outreach Tutor (Maths & English) – Barking and Dagenham

ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

Prospero Teaching is seeking a dedicated and qualified Maths and English Tutor to deliver bespoke 1:1 tuition to young people who are currently not attending school in the Barking and Dagenham area.

As an Outreach Tutor, you will be responsible for planning and delivering tailored lessons that help close gaps in learning, rebuild confidence, and improve academic engagement. This is an ideal opportunity for a qualified teacher who is looking for a more flexible and rewarding role outside of the traditional classroom environment.

Many of the learners have experienced interruptions to their education and may have low self-esteem. You’ll play a key role in helping them regain confidence and structure in their daily learning.
