Job Summary: QA Analyst – SmartCOMM Implementation

Location : Hyderabad / Coimbatore

We are looking for a detail-oriented QA Analyst to support the testing and quality assurance of our SmartCOMM implementation. The ideal candidate will ensure that all document generation processes meet functional and technical requirements, delivering a seamless experience across integrated systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and scripts for SmartCOMM implementations.
• Validate document templates, data mapping, and integration points with upstream and downstream systems (e.g., Guidewire).
• Perform functional, regression, and user acceptance testing to ensure quality and compliance.
• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and project teams to identify and resolve defects.
• Document test results and provide clear reporting on quality metrics.
• Ensure adherence to QA best practices and maintain testing documentation.
• Contribute to defining test strategies, including both manual and automated approaches, to effectively validate APIs.
• Design, develop, and maintain robust automation test suites for API testing using tools such as Postman, REST Assured, or similar.
• Build automated frameworks to streamline testing, reduce manual overhead, and ensure consistency.
• Integrate automated tests into Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, etc.).
• Execute manual and automated tests, analyze results, and identify root causes of defects.
• Track and report defects using bug-tracking tools like JIRA, ensuring defects are assigned to the correct teams and resolved in a timely manner.
• Provide clear and concise test results, metrics, and status updates to stakeholders.
• Participate in code reviews of test scripts and mentor team members on best practices for test automation.
• Continuously evaluate and recommend new tools or processes to improve test coverage, reliability, and speed.

Required Skills :

• 4+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance or Test Automation
• Experience in QA testing for document generation platforms (SmartCOMM preferred).
• Strong understanding of SDLC, QA methodologies, and defect management tools (e.g., Jira).
• Familiarity with insurance systems (Guidewire PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, ClaimCenter) is a plus.
• Ability to analyze requirements and translate them into effective test scenarios.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
