What You’ll Do:

● Design, develop, and maintain automated test cases using Cucumber with Selenium for web and mobile applications.

● Create comprehensive test plans and perform both manual and automated testing for APIs and customer-facing Android/iOS mobile apps, covering positive and negative scenarios.

● Use Postman for API testing, validating request/response payloads and workflows.

● Pay attention to details, demonstrating exceptional analytical skills and thorough understanding of user stories and tasks to maximize defect coverage.

● Log defects and manage releases effectively through JIRA, creating clear tickets and collaborating with the Product and Tech teams to drive releases to closure.

● Write basic scripts or automation utilities in Java/Python for test and data setup, and execute SQL queries to validate test results in databases.

● Mentor junior QA engineers and continuously improve testing procedures, striving for maximum quality and coverage

What We're Looking For:

● Profound hands-on experience in writing automation scripts using Selenium and Cucumber.

● Strong experience with Postman or similar tools for API validation and testing.

● Experience testing mobile applications on both Android and iOS platforms, including functional and regression testing.

● Deep understanding of manual testing methodologies, with focus on positive/negative test cases and edge conditions.

● Proficient in both tech and non-tech communication, adaptable to work with Product and Tech teams across the release lifecycle.

● Basic programming knowledge (Java/Python) and the ability to write and optimize SQL queries for data validation.

● Advanced experience using JIRA for ticket creation, release management, and workflow automation.

● A mindset focused on automation, efficiency, and scalability

● Excellent written and verbal communication skills and strong documentation habits

Nice to Have:

● Experience with performance/load testing using JMeter or similar tools.

● Hands-on exposure to continuous integration pipelines and automation within CI/CD flows.

● Familiarity with additional automation frameworks (Espresso, XCUITest, Appium) or cloud/mobile device testing platforms.
