We are looking for a-QA Engineer with 1–2 years of experience in manual and basic
automation testing. The candidate will be responsible for testing web applications built using
Next.js, Nest JS, and Postgre SQL. The role includes end-to-end testing of job portal
workflows and validating AI-driven features. Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and
clear documentation are essential.
Key Responsibilities
● Perform manual testing of web applications (functional, UI, regression, end-to-end).
● Test frontend modules built with Next.js and backend services built with Nest JS.
● Validate Postgre SQL data, queries, and schema changes.
● Test API endpoints using Postman or similar tools.
● Create, update, and execute test cases, scenarios, and test plans.
● Identify, document, and track bugs using tools like Jira, Linear, Trello, or Asana.
● Test job portal features such as job posting, applications, profiles, results and
dashboards.
● Test AI features (chatbots, automated evaluations , question generation).
● Conduct cross-browser and cross-device testing.
● Work closely with developers and product teams to ensure high-quality releases.
Automation Responsibilities
● Create and maintain automation scripts using Selenium, Playwright, or Cypress.
● Automate repetitive test scenarios to improve efficiency.
● Run automated test suites and share detailed reports.
● Contribute to API automation where needed.
Requirements
● 1–2 years of experience in manual and/or automation testing.
● Strong understanding of STLC, SDLC, and defect lifecycle.
● Experience testing modern web applications.
● Basic automation experience (Selenium, Playwright, or Cypress).
● Working knowledge of API testing tools (Postman, Thunder Client, Swagger).
● Ability to write SQL queries and validate data (Postgre SQL preferred).
● Good understanding of test case design techniques.
● Strong analytical, debugging, and communication skills.
Nice to Have
● Experience testing applications built with Next.js, Nest JS, or microservices.
● Exposure to AI/LLM-based feature testing.
● Experience with performance testing tools (JMeter, k6).
● Familiarity with CI/CD platforms like Git Hub Actions, Git Lab CI, or Jenkins.
● Understanding of authentication & authorization testing (JWT, OAuth, RBAC).
● Knowledge of version control (Git).
