Quality Assurance Engineer

Our Team

The Team engages in active exchanges with its global bases. The division's manufacturing plants are in Kagoshima and Shizuoka domestically, as well as overseas in China, Korea, Vietnam, Malaysia, India, Singapore, and other countries. We collaborate with quality engineers at each plant to improve manufacturing quality.

The Quality Assurance Department has teams with different functions including:

• AQP (Advanced Quality Planning), overseeing the quality of new launches.

• QE (Quality Excellence), managing quality systems and quality information.

• SQA (Supplier Quality Assurance), focusing on the quality of supplier-supplied products.

• Quality Task Force, which promotes various improvement activities.

What You Will Do

You will handle quality inquiries from domestic and international customers regarding connector products manufactured at our overseas plants.

• The following is a typical workflow: 

• Communicating with customers and our overseas plants (email/phone),

• Handling samples from customers and in our logistics warehouse,

• Confirming the symptoms of samples returned by customers,

• Reviewing and translating reports received from overseas plants,

• Submitting reports to customers,

In line with this, you will undertake activities to improve our manufacturing quality and contribute to customer satisfaction, including responding to customer audits.

Additionally, you will lead relevant departments to improve product quality and operational process quality and drive the advancement of our quality system (preventing issues before they occur and preventing recurrence, improving operational process quality).

Our overseas plants are in various countries including China, South Korea, Vietnam, Malaysia, India, and Singapore.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

• Able to proactively communicate with a variety of stakeholders (suppliers, internal departments, and our customers),

• Capability in English, as international interactions are essential,

• Willing to tackle tasks in collaboration with stakeholders,

• Proficient in Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and SAP

• Technical College and above

• Japanese: Upper Business Level

• English: Business Level

What Will Put You Ahead

Working Knowledge of: 

• Quality control, Quality assurance

• Manufacturing and design of mechanical and electrical products, 

• Maintenance, management, and improvement of IATF16949 (QMS),

• Operation of measuring equipment and analytical equipment, etc.
