Role Description

**Position:** Quality Assurance Manager – Aluminium Foundry (QMS & VDA 6.3 Lead)

**Location: Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, India

We are seeking a senior Quality Assurance professional to lead our aluminum foundry’s quality function. The ideal candidate will:

·       

Key Responsibilities:

·       Drive QMS implementation aligned with ISO 9001/IATF 16949

·       Lead audit readiness and achieve VDA 6.3 certification

·       Train and mentor QA engineers and shop-floor teams

·       Apply FMEA, SPC, PPAP, APQP, and control plans to improve yield

·       Ensure aluminum casting processes (LPDC, GDC, HPDC) meet global standards

Qualifications:

·       Engineering degree (Mechanical/Metallurgical/Production)

·       8–12 years of QA experience in aluminum foundry/automotive manufacturing

·       ISO 9001 Lead Auditor certification; VDA 6.3 experience mandatory

·       Strong leadership and documentation skills
