Quality Assurance Nurse

First Steps Nursing and Therapy Services is currently hiring for a Quality Assurance Nurse. We are a pediatric home health company servicing the medical fragile community.

Responsibilities: The QA nurse will be responsible for reviewing and implementing standards on nurses' notes and patient chart audits. This role requires to ensure quality of patient care in the patients’ residence and in the patient charts are documented according to agency, state and federal regulations. Ensure services are being delivered according to physician orders and the plan of care. Provide QAPI education or documentation training as necessary to field staff. Report to the Director of Nurses/Alternate Director of Nurses. Assisting with the overall development and implementation of the QAPI program. Carries out other duties as assigned by the Director of Nursing, or Administrative staff.
