Job Description Quality Control (QC)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Quality Assurance professional with over 10 years of experience in a Buying House / Factory / Brand. The ideal candidate should have strong vendor management skills, hands-on experience with in-line, mid-line, FPT, GPT, and final inspections, and the ability to coordinate with clients and internal teams to ensure timely and quality delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct in-line, mid-line, and final inspections at vendor/factory sites
• Verify product specifications, measurements, trims, packaging, and labeling before shipment
• Share real-time inspection reports with merchandising and sourcing teams
• Raise alerts for any quality deviations and assist in implementing corrective actions
• Ensure production follows approved samples and technical packs
• Coordinate with vendors to resolve quality concerns promptly
• Ensure compliance with buyer testing and inspection protocols
• Maintain daily QC logs and performance documentation
• Participate in Pre-Production Meetings (PPMs) with vendors
• Report any production risks or delays immediately to the team

Key Skills & Competencies:

• Strong knowledge of woven, knits, and accessories production
• Proficient in vendor and supply chain management
• Effective communication and negotiation skills
• Working knowledge of Excel, PLM systems, and ERP (if applicable)
• Ability to multitask and work under pressure
• Strong attention to detail and analytical ability

Educational Qualification:

Degree/Diploma in Fashion Technology / Apparel Merchandising / Textile Design or relevant field.

Experience in QC within the textile and apparel industry is highly preferred.

Preferred Background:

Prior experience in a Fashion Buying House, Factory, and/or Brands is desirable.
