Job Description:

· Perform manual testing of accounting and finance applications, including GL, AP, AR, invoicing, payments, and reconciliations.

· Understand and validate accounting workflows, journal entries, ledgers, and financial reports.

· Design, execute, and maintain detailed test cases, test scenarios, and test data based on business and functional requirements.

· Validate financial calculations, postings, tax rules, currency conversions, and regulatory compliance.

· Perform end-to-end, integration, regression, and UAT support testing.

· Identify, log, track, and verify defects using defect tracking tools (e.g., JIRA).

· Collaborate closely with product owners, business analysts, developers, and finance stakeholders.

· Review requirement documents and provide feedback from a QA and accounting perspective.

· Ensure data accuracy across system integrations and reports.

· Support production validations and post-release verification when required.

Required Skills & Qualifications

· Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.

· 2–6 years of experience in Manual QA testing, preferably in accounting or finance-based applications.

· Strong understanding of accounting principles (GL, AP, AR, financial statements).

· Experience testing financial systems such as ERP, billing, invoicing, or payment platforms.
