Quality Control and Assurance Director

The ideal candidate is a critical thinker who will proactively improve the quality systems of the company through internal audits, participation in process improvement programs, and interaction with key partners to obtain constructive feedback.

Role & responsibilities

• Coordinate efforts between multiple teams to achieve product quality goals.
• Provide oversight of products being produced complies with customer specifications and quality requirements.
• Identify areas of improvement / innovation to add value to customer on continuous basis
• Identify, implement and manage the development and preparation of key reliability metrics
• Work with all new teams and help train them & get up to speed regarding quality assurance practices and SOPs along with product knowledge.
• Balance competing objectives across various quality and oversight activities.
• Develop reports covering data analysis and corrective action preventive action (CAPA)
• Review quality related policies, procedures, and documents for compliance with accreditation and quality standards and recommends revisions where necessary
• Co-ordination with Q.C inspection to get the inspection done at the time of Fittings, Initials, Inline, Midline & Final.
• Responsible for setting all processes related to quality, standard operating procedures (SOPs) that are to be followed in the plant.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.G., Textile-engineering or manufacturing)
• Must have experience of min 10-12 yrs in Garments manufacturing industry etc.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to make timely decisions based on sound judgment
