Quality Control Manager _ Taifa

•Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Industrial Engineering, or related field.• Minimum 5–7 years’ experience in food manufacturing, preferably in cereal-based or flour products (Tom Brown, infant cereals, fortified foods, etc.).
• Strong knowledge of food safety standards (HACCP, GMP, ISO, FDA).
• Hands-on experience with production machinery and quality testing methods.
• Proven leadership, problem-solving, and process optimization skills.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Must reside in Taifa or its immediate environs.

Role Overview

The Operations & QC Manager will oversee the entire production process of cereal-based products, with a strong focus on Tom Brown or similar blended cereal flours. The role combines operational leadership with strict quality control to ensure efficient production, regulatory compliance, and consistent delivery of safe, high-quality products.

Key Responsibilities

Plan, organize, and supervise daily production activities to meet output targets.

Ensure efficient utilization of raw materials, manpower, and machinery.

Monitor inventory of raw materials and finished goods, coordinating with procurement and warehouse teams.

Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) for production processes.

Oversee equipment maintenance and troubleshoot production issues to minimize downtime.

Establish and maintain quality control protocols for cereal-based production.

Inspect and test raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods to meet food safety standards.

Ensure compliance with local and international food safety regulations (e.g., FDA, HACCP, ISO, GMP).

Implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) for any deviations in quality.

Prepare regular production and quality reports for management.

Ensure regulatory compliance in packaging, labeling, and storage.

Support internal and external audits, ensuring all documentation is up to date.
