Job Description :



*** Note - Resource should be available for F2F Interview in IBM location based on account request and Day 1 reporting from DOJ. ***

  • 3-4+ years of overall test automation experience, with 3+ years hands-on Appium (Android & iOS).

  • Strong in mobile automation frameworks, including Appium Server, Appium Inspector, WebDriver Agent (iOS), and UIAutomator2 (Android).

  • Deep understanding of automation design patterns (POM, factory, services layer, reusable utilities).




Mobile Platform Knowledge

  • Expert knowledge of:

  • iOS ecosystem: XCUITest, provisioning profiles, signing, real device setup, WDA troubleshooting.

  • Android ecosystem: ADB commands, device management, emulators, UIAutomator2 behaviors.

  • Ability to identify platform-specific issues and handle flakiness, synchronization, gestures, deep links, etc.




Strong Programming Skills

  • Proficiency in Java or Python (or JavaScript, depending on your stack).

  • Ability to write clean, maintainable, scalable automation code.

  • Solid understanding of API calls, backend validation, and integration of automation with services.

  • CI/CD & Framework Integration

  • Experience integrating Appium tests into CI/CD pipelines: Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, CircleCI, etc.

  • Knowledge of version control (Git), branching, code review, and merge processes.

  • Experience with Docker-based mobile testing setups (nice to have).
