Quality Engineer_EEE For a leading Auto OEM

Roles and Responsibilities A leading Automotive OEM is looking for Asst. Manager Quality Management for EEE department. Preferred Exposure- Electrical & Electronic Design Quality of components/systems applicable to automotive systems in 2W,3W & 4W Location : Pune Required : Graduate in BE - Electrical or Electronics with 3+ yrs experience in Automotive or Electronics industry Required Skills

Conceptual understanding of Design Quality Management in EEE area of functions in R&D Function.

Exposure in Automotive Electrical and Electronic system/Parts(such as Switches, Motors, Harness, ECU’s, LED’s, DC-DC converter/Inverter, Motors, Relays, Magnetos, Batteries, Chargers etc..) & Integration on 2Wheeler, 3Wheeler & 4Wheeler vehicle Platforms (Powertrains such as Gasoline, Diesel, LPG, CNG & EV)

Experience in Testing of of parts in vehicles considering function, safety, Durability and environmental aspects, etc.

Experience with Product lifecycle management systems like Teamcenter

Knowledge of Quality Management principles and methods applied to New Product Development

Knowledge of Indian and global automotive industry standards and regulations

Good understanding of new technologies in automotive domain

Role & Responsibilities

Lead & Participate in CFT Interactions with Internal & External Teams such as Designers, Integrators, Testing, Purchase, Process, Plant QA, CQA, Warranty, Service & Suppliers

Prepare, update & Maintain Quality Management Dash board for Reviews.

Tracking & analysis of External (Field Failures) / Internal Testing Failures , AIAG based 4th or VDA method DFMEA’s, DVP tests, Issues tracking, monitoring & closures of Design Guidelines, DRBFM analysis & Closures.

Proficiency in QC tools such as 7QC stories, why-why analysis, Effective Problem solving, FTA, 8D reports, 6W-2H etc..

Must have Creative thinking ability, Analytical & Statistical Skills

Must know Root cause analysis process for Design/Process quality issues using QC tools and countermeasure actions such as Interim & Permanent Corrective Actions

Ability to present and articulate Precise Problem Statement with Cause & Effect QC stories

Participate in Design reviews, FMEA (system / design), Track & Closure actions for Open Points

Knowledge on continuous system learning tools like Design Guidelines, Kaizen, etc.

Ensure horizontal deployment of countermeasures / Design principles / learning across products/Models
