Job Description
GENERAL SUMMARY:
Ensure quality policy and procedures are implemented to provide the quality product that meets design parameters in the Fabrication process.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide leadership for process control
- Problem resolution with suppliers and customers
- Support the corrective action system (internal and External).
-Provide technical support to Mfg. Eng. regarding quality of product and his function design
- Quality gage requirement process
- Provide leadership to QC engineers and technicians
- Work closely with engineering and manufacturing in capacity studies, gage R&R and DOE.
- Any other duties or responsibilities as assigned by the department supervisor.
- Performs activities related to safety.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:
FABRICATION
* Education Degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Industrial Engineer.
* 50% Bilingual
* SPC
* Knowledge of ISO9000
*AMEF & control plan
*Leadership
*GD&T
*Good analytical
*Computer literate on Microsoft
*Experience 2 years minimum in quality control general
*MIG & TIG process
*Problem solving techniques
*Statical techniques
*DOE,QFD,PPAP
*Good analytical skils
*NDT knowledge and MPI,LPI
*Knowledge on material composition
