Responsibilities

  • Comfortably work on the production floor up to 50% of the time.
  • Support quality processes within the facility by analyzing information and reporting research results.
  • Communicate corrective actions and quality issues effectively both verbally and in writing.
  • Specialize in one of the three focus areas: Receiving Inspection, In-process Inspection, or Final Inspection, while being capable of performing duties in all areas.
  • Utilize Non-Conformance Reporting and Corrective Action Systems.
  • Conduct inspections and tests, document, and report findings.
  • Read specifications and part prints to interpret dimensional, physical, functional, and visual requirements.
  • Ensure calibration and maintenance of inspection equipment.
  • Perform product identification and traceability activities as required.
  • Collaborate with other personnel to resolve inspection questions.
