**PURPOSE OF POSITION**Responsible for overseeing, from the Quality perspective, the assembly of battery and corded outdoor products. Support Manufacturing, Engineering, and Materials groups in identification of root cause defect analysis and correction. Supervises the Quality Inspection Group.
**MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Plan, create and manage the overall Quality Planning strategy
- Identify quality assurance process bottleneck and suggest actions for improvement
- Collect quality data
- Identify key KPIs for product quality
- Ensure that processes needed for the Quality System are established, implemented and maintained.
- Administration of Corrective Action Request system and Customer Complaints.
