Overview

The Automation Test Engineer (Quality Engineer) oversees the defect lifecycle, conducts root cause analysis, and provides actionable quality insights using key metrics such as Defect Leakage and MTTD/MTTR. The role includes embedding performance and security testing into CI/CD pipelines, supporting QA activities throughout project releases, and collaborating cross-functionally to maintain quality standards and foster a culture of continuous improvement.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 10+ years of experience in quality engineering or 1–5 years of test automation experience for software-focused roles.
  • Strong understanding of QA methodologies and strategy development.
  • Automation Expertise: Proficiency in automation tools and frameworks like Playwright, Allure Report, Appium, WebdriverIO, LambdaTest, K6, etc.
  • CI/CD Tools: Experience with CI/CD tools such as GitLab.
