Quality Engineering Specialist

POSITION OVERVIEW

dormakaba is seeking a temporary Quality Engineering Specialist based in Montreal, QC. The Quality Engineering Specialist is responsible to measure all activities from Quality Control working in accordance with Continuous Improvement philosophy. The Quality Engineering Specialist will develop, maintain and facilitate the production part approval and inspection processes and conduct customer complaint investigations.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Consistently track Non-Conformance Reports (NCR), Corrective Action Requests (CAR), and implement Engineering Change Notices (ECN)
• Create Control Plans, develop Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), and conduct Statistical Process Control (SPC) analysis
• Utliize Lean tools to propose department improvements
• Conduct internal audits, manage quarantines, and lead Material Review Board (MRB) meetings.
