Quality Head - BESS

I. ROLE

The key role of the Quality Assurance Head is to provide clear leadership for the development of an

environment focused on Quality and develop quality-process in-line with the Quality Management

system (including: IATF / ISO14001 / ISO 9001 / ISO 45001), PPAP, APQP, Controls Plans, FMEA and

SQA processes. And oversee continued compliance and embedding across the business. Manage the

audit program as well as supplier development and improvement and play a key role in ensuring

project deliveries.

Supplier Quality/Supplier Development +Inward Quality+ In-process Quality+ Final Quality + Customer

Quality and QMS falls under purview of Quality Head.

II. RESPOSNSIBIITY

• Measuring, analyzing, reporting and concluding all quality aspects and to secure the desired

quality level in all customer deliveries.

• Serve as a resource by recommending appropriate compliance efforts and proposing

improvements to the Quality System.

• Provide timely information to Management on the status of conformance to requirements

• Effective implement Quality System strategy defining Quality System.

• Ensure that the facility remains continually certified to ISO.

• Coordinate ISO compliance efforts within the facility.

• Have a thorough familiarity with the requirements of the ISO Standard.

• Ensure that the Quality System is regularly audited/reviewed and that changes needed are

implemented in a timely fashion.

• Ensure all facility associates are educated in the regulatory requirements.

• Ensure plants have appropriate resources with the right competencies to execute the Quality

System.

• Maintain systems that assure only acceptable raw materials are used in processes and that only

acceptable materials are shipped.

III. AUTHORITIES

• Approval for Management discussion on the quality related issues.

• Approval on the leave requests

• Approval on any process change

• Authorizes on new resources hiring.

• Stop production line because of genuine quality issue observed on line.
