Job Description

Job Purpose

• Responsible for ensuring a product or service meets the established standards of quality including reliability, usability and performance.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Assists the Quality Assurance Manager in the day to day activities of the quality department
• Development, implementation, maintenance and enforcement of the Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP)
• Set standards and monitor procedures to ensure food safety at all stages of the operation including receiving, packaging and shipping
• Assist in the development, maintenance and enforcement of all Quality/food safety programs
• Oversee all production lines from a quality point of view
• Supervise and instruct all Line Inspectors
• Acting Quality Assurance Manager when Quality Assurance Manager is not on site or available by phone
