Quality Inspector – 1st Shift (Manufacturing)
A well-established manufacturing operation is seeking a Quality Inspector to support inspection of machined parts and assemblies in a fast-paced production environment. This role is ideal for someone who is hands-on, detail-oriented, and comfortable working directly with measurement tools on the shop floor.
Responsibilities
- Inspect machined parts to ensure conformance with specifications and tolerances
- Use precision measuring instruments including micrometers, calipers, gauges, and related tools
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, measurements, and tolerances
- Perform in-process and final inspections
- Document inspection results and communicate issues to production and quality teams
- Support quality standards and continuous improvement efforts
