Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough inspections of incoming materials to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.
- Perform in-process inspections at various stages of production to identify defects or deviations from requirements.
- Document inspection results accurately and maintain detailed records of findings.
- Collaborate with production, supply chain teams and China team to address quality issues promptly.
- Utilize precision measuring tools such as micrometers, vernier calipers, and other inspection instruments effectively.
- Read and interpret mechanical and electrical drawings to verify product conformance.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives by providing feedback on quality trends and potential areas of concern.
- Provide preliminary answers to questions related to the quality aspects of the factory audit of the owner or supervisor, and communicate with the Chinese team to get clarification
- Supervise the implementation of relevant changes in the workshop, and report abnormal situations to the Chinese team
- Follow up the non-conforming products in the workshop, establish a non-conforming product ledger, synchronize to the Chinese team, and retain disposal records, photos, etc
Qualifications:
- Diploma in a relevant technical field (e.g., Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or similar).
- Prior experience in incoming and in-process inspection within the wind power industry is highly preferred.
- Alternatively, experience in incoming and in-process inspection in the automotive industry will be considered.
- Proficiency in using precision measuring instruments (e.g., micrometers, vernier calipers, gauges).
- Ability to read and understand mechanical and electrical drawings.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
