Description Job Summary:
The Quality Manager is responsible for all aspects of Quality Control and Assurance and Food Safety adherence. The Quality Manager will supervise the Quality department, which includes handling all personnel and policies. Quality Managers ensure their teams follow established rules for handling Quality issues; these rules are meant to address Quality issues promptly while retaining profitability. They assign work to employees and oversee schedules under the guidance of their manager and human resources guidelines. Quality Managers train new employees on proper testing procedures, GMP expectations, and safety habits. The expectation of the Quality Manager is to handle day-to-day Quality activities; they are positioned to offer feedback on procedures and recommend improvements to management.
