Quality Technician - 1st shift

Position Summary: Performs a variety of quality control tests on systems and products at various stages of the production process to ensure compliance with quality and customer specifications or to determine the cause of a system or product failure. This is a first shift opportunity. Position Requirements: Perform calibrations for the Met/Cal System and maintain standards for inspection, testing, and evaluation. Coordinate outside calibration services for on-site calibration of equipment with operations and engineering. Perform M.S.A. studies (Gage R&R's) and capability studies. Perform failure analysis, RGA record tasks, and assist in the compilation of data reports and 8D reports for customer returned parts. Organize filing of reports and parts. Initiate Quality Alerts and create boundary samples. Conduct training for operators as required. Conduct process audits for compliance to engineering documents, prints, and work instructions.
