Quantity Surveyor - Biologics - Düsseldorf - 3-Year Contract 

Quanta are supporting a huge capital investment project in Germany.

This Global Biologics Client are currently building their capital projects team and require a Quantity Surveyor with previous Greenfield or Brownfield Facility Build Experience to support their new venture.

We are interested in speaking with Senior Consultants looking for a long-term assignment.


Responsibilities:
  • Provide project controls management, including works contractor cost report development and management.
  • Process monthly progress applications for Certification.
  • Management of the standard onsite site work instruction procedure.
  • Generation of works contractors cost reports for Project Managers.
  • Integration of individual contractor costs into overall project cost reports.
  • Carry out on site re-measures of completed works in line with contract conditions.
  • Manage works contractors project costs from award to final account agreement.
  • Ability to review budgets and quotations to ensure value for money.
  • Attending weekly contractor meetings across various projects.
  • Developing working relationships with line managers and individuals within each functional group utilising open communication skills.

    • Education:
  • Qualification in a QS / Commercial related subject
  • 5+ years’ experience in a similar role.
  • Experience & proven record of delivering power generation projects
  • Pharma / Bio experience supporting capital projects
