Role Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor Engineer to manage all cost-related aspects of construction projects. The ideal candidate will ensure that projects are completed within budget, assess contractual variations, and support in accurate cost planning and control throughout the lifecycle of projects.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare BOQs (Bill of Quantities) based on architectural and structural drawings.
  • Estimate material quantities and costs, and monitor project budgets.
  • Prepare rate analysis, tenders, and cost comparisons for different vendors.
  • Monitor project progress and track costs to ensure alignment with project budget.
  • Evaluate contractor bills, certifications, and reconciliation of materials.
  • Assist in procurement processes and negotiate with vendors/subcontractors.
  • Prepare cost reports, forecasts, and recommendations to the project team.
  • Analyze and manage project risks and support in dispute resolution, if required.
  • Ensure adherence to project timelines, quality standards, and statutory compliance.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or related field
  • 35 years of hands-on experience as a Quantity Surveyor in civil or infrastructure projects
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, AutoCAD, and estimation software
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills
  • Excellent knowledge of tendering processes, contracts, and construction methods
  • Good communication and vendor management skills


Preferred Candidates:

  • Experience with residential/commercial/high-rise construction projects
  • Knowledge of local building codes and contract laws
  • Strong multitasking and documentation skills
