Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor (Pre & Post Contracts) to perform following tasks.

Job Tasks & Responsibilities:

Pre-Contract Responsibilities:

• Study of Tender drawings, specifications & documents
• Prepare detailed Quantity Take-off
• Maintain a track of design & Quantity changes
• Prepare list of RFIs for clarifications
• Prepare tender documents (RFPs, RFQs) and manage bid processes.
• Evaluate contractors / vendors bids and prepare comparative statements and assisting procurement team.
• Assisting estimation team in cost estimation preparation
• Conduct feasibility studies, cost planning, and value engineering exercises.
• Review drawings and specifications to identify cost risks and opportunities.
• Identifying scope gap. Prepare and maintain Risk & Opportunity register

Post-Contract Responsibilities:

• Monitor project costs, budgets and cash flow.
• Certify progress bills, final bills, variation & claims.
• Manage variations, change orders and claims with cost impact analysis.
• Track work progress and contractor performance.
• Prepare monthly cost reports, MIS, and financial summaries.
• Ensure compliance with contract terms and payment schedules.
• Material, Labor & Cost Reconciliation
• Support final account settlement and project cost reconciliation.

Key Skills & Competencies:

• Strong knowledge of quantity surveying and contract administration
• Expertise in BOQ preparation and billing
• Knowledge of standard construction contracts (FIDIC / AIA)
• Proficiency in MS Office, AutoCAD, PlanSwift and ERP systems
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings
• Strong analytical, negotiation, communication and presentation skills
• A team player & a team leader
• Adhering to company goals, procedures and policies

Educational Qualification:

• BE / B. Tech in Civil Engineering

Preferred Experience:

• Real estate & Construction project exposure in residential, commercial, or mixed-use developments
• Experience in USA residential projects

Reporting To:

• Commercial Manager / Project Manager
