Abatec is proud to be partnered with a leading UK civil engineering and infrastructure contractor, on an exciting opportunity for an experienced Quantity Surveyor. This role is based on-site in Weston Super Mare, working on a significant infrastructure project - aimed at reducing congestion on a key commuter corridor.
My client is recognised for delivering complex, high-profile infrastructure schemes across the highways and rail sectors, including smart motorway upgrades, active travel routes, transport hubs, and bridge replacement programmes. With a growing annual turnover of over £275 million they operate nationally and hold long-term collaborative partnerships with clients like National Highways and Network Rail.
As a Quantity Surveyor, you will be:
* Oversee commercial delivery of an NEC contract involving site clearance, excavation, and utility diversions.
* Be site-present 4 days per week, monitoring cost performance and contract compliance.
