Quantity Surveyor/Manager

I am currently partnering with a leading international EPC contractor on the delivery of a major hyperscale data centre programme in Barcelona.

As part of this programme, the client is seeking an experienced Cost Manager to take commercial ownership of site delivery on a mission‑critical, 24/7 facility. This role will sit at the centre of project execution and play a key role in ensuring cost certainty, commercial governance, and programme confidence throughout the build lifecycle.

Project Overview :

• Role: Cost Manager – Hyperscale Data Centre
• Start: ASAP start date
• Duration: Permanent position
• Location: Barcelona (site‑based)
• Language: Fluent English and Spanish required
• Eligibility: EU‑based candidates

Experience Required :

• Proven experience as a Cost Manager / Senior Quantity Surveyor on large‑scale data centre or mission‑critical infrastructure projects
• Strong commercial understanding of MEP‑led construction within hyperscale environments
• Ownership of project budgets, cost planning, forecasting, and reporting through construction and commissioning
• Management of procurement, contract administration, and change control with EPCs and specialist subcontractors
• Experience dealing with high‑value packages, long‑lead items, and cost risk mitigation
• Confident stakeholder interface with clients, project teams, and senior leadership from build through handover
