Quotations Analyst I

Job Description
The Quotations Analyst provides market-competitive rate quotes and meets revenue and profit goals for Customer Solutions. This role will also increase ArcBest's footprint as a single source provider of logistical solutions.

Responsibilities
* Maintain a positive attitude in a highly intense environment.
* Make pricing decisions on multiple-quote scenarios.
* Work in a team environment to accomplish departmental goals and to meet the needs of customers.

* Utilize negotiating skills and sales techniques in order to secure business.
* Provide market-competitive pricing decisions for ArcBest's spot quote markets while maintaining profitability and market share.
* Evaluate and adjust quotes and freight bills, as necessary.
* Evaluate and analyze the optimum mode(s) of transportation for shipments.
