Job Description

A contract opportunity is available for an experienced Radiologic Technologist skilled in imaging and X-ray technology. This role requires dedication to patient-centered care within a high-volume, multidisciplinary radiology department. The position offers a Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday schedule from 1:00 PM to 11:30 PM, providing a structured workweek with consistent hours.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Minimum of 3 years as a Radiologic Technologist or X-ray Tech
  • ARRT certification in Radiologic Technology (ARRT-R) required
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Experience with Siemens and GE imaging equipment preferred
  • Proficient with EMR systems, particularly EPIC
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
  • Willingness to work approximately 75% of holidays as part of the contract

Responsibilities:

  • Perform diagnostic imaging procedures in Emergency, Inpatient, and Outpatient settings
  • Collaborate closely with Radiology Nursing and Transport teams to ensure smooth workflow
  • Maintain patient safety and comfort during imaging procedures
  • Adhere to departmental policies, including wearing designated black scrubs

Schedule & Work Environment:

  • 10-hour day shifts: 1:00 PM 11:30 PM (Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday)
  • Weekend rotation and on-call duties will be discussed during the interview process
  • Orientation lasting 3-5 days tailored to specific modalities
  • Free parking available onsite
  • Manager approval required for return-to-office or schedule changes
