Job Description
A talented X-Ray Technologist is needed to support the Pain Management department in Camden, SC. This role focuses on providing precise diagnostic imaging under the supervision of physicians to aid in treating patients with chronic and acute pain. Expertise in fluoroscopy and radiographic techniques for interventional pain procedures is essential, alongside a strong commitment to patient safety and comfort.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic and interventional radiographic imaging using GE x-ray equipment and OEC (GE) C-arms in the operating room.
- Collaborate closely with the pain management team to ensure quality imaging that supports accurate diagnoses and treatment plans.
- Maintain patient safety and comfort during all imaging procedures.
- Adhere to all regulatory standards and facility protocols.
Qualifications:
- Valid South Carolina Radiology Tech license.
- RD ARRT certification.
- Registration with the South Carolina Radiation Quality Standards Association (SCRQSA).
- Current BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association.
- Familiarity with GE x-ray and OEC (GE) C-arm equipment.
- Previous experience in diagnostic imaging, preferably in a clinical or pain management setting.
Schedule:
- Monday through Thursday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.
- Friday, 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM.
- Total of 36 hours per week.
