Job Description
The initial scope of this role is to deliver quality design work on time using primarily Revit Modeler and working on Penn Coach Yard. However, this role may also include design in Civil 3D or Microstation and consist of design work for roadways and railways.
Due to the nature of this position, direct supervision from American Project Leads will not always be possible. Therefore, the candidate must demonstrate the ability to understand complex processes, work independently, be self-motivated, produce quality work, and do it in a timely manner.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Independently work on Revit designs and sheet production.
- Independently work on other designs and sheet production using Civil 3D and/or MicroStation, as needed.
- Conduct all technical analyses and documentation following TYLI’s quality assurance and quality control processes.
- Ensure successful completion of projects under his/her direction.
- Other responsibilities as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS (INCLUDING EDUCATION and/or JOB EXPERIENCE):
- 6+ years of professional experience required in transportation CADD design.
- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering.
- Experience in the execution of projects as a lead designer is preferred.
- Must demonstrate high proficiency in Revit, and Civil 3D or MicroStation design/plan production.
- Proficient in the following is desired: Open Roads, Open Rail, Inrail, Bluebeam, GIS, ProjectWise, Microsoft Office suite.
- Ability to understand complex direction and work independently.
- Ability to produce high quality work.
- Ability to solve complex problems and demonstrate good engineering judgement.
- Ability to communicate complex issues to reach a sound conclusion.
- Ability to adapt to varying client design standards and adapt to changing design direction and conditions.
- Position requires meeting with design teams on a periodic basis at business times in the East time zone of the United States (ET). Meeting days/times will be based on project needs. Flexibility is desired.
