RAP Coordinator (Section 50(d)
Location:      Bentley, Western Australia
Work Type:  Part Time | 0.8 FTE (4 days per week)

Make a lasting impact in regional communities across Western Australia
Horizon Power is seeking a committed and passionate RAP Coordinator to lead the delivery of our newly implemented Stretch Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP) initiatives and strengthen relationships with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples across our regions.

As part of the Traditional Owner Relationships & Reconciliation team, this role plays a vital part in advancing our reconciliation commitments, engaging with internal business, Aboriginal stakeholders, and ensuring the delivery of meaningful, culturally safe programs that support positive long-term outcomes.

In this role, you’ll be at the heart of Horizon Power’s commitment to reconciliation. You’ll help us deepen our relationships with internal business stakeholders, communities, raise cultural capability across the organisation, and ensure our RAP initiatives are delivered in ways that are culturally safe, respectful and impactful. Your work will help shape a more inclusive, sustainable future for WA.

As our RAP Coordinator, you will:
•Bring Horizon Power’s Stretch RAP to life across all divisions.
•Build and strengthen relationships with internal business stakeholders, Traditional Owners, Aboriginal communities, customers and partners.
•Ensure cultural integrity and best practice engagement in everything we do.
•Coordinate project timelines, resources, risks and reporting (including with Reconciliation Australia).
•Represent Horizon Power at events, community engagements and internal initiatives.

•Strong cultural knowledge and a deep understanding of Aboriginal community dynamics.
•Experience in Aboriginal community engagement and project coordination.
•The ability to build trust, connect with diverse groups and influence positive outcomes.
•Excellent communication, organisation and stakeholder management skills.
•Passion, integrity and a genuine commitment to reconciliation.
