Cement Trader 

Our client is hiring an experienced trader for its Raw Materials and Optimization Group (RMOG), focusing on cement industry brokerage. The role involves driving profitability, coordinating with internal teams, and building supplier and buyer relationships. Candidates must be market-savvy, strategic, and willing to travel extensively (50–80%) to maintain client connections.

Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for business development, profitability, and strategic growth
  • Identify and build relationships with cement suppliers and buyers

  • Stay informed on market trends to optimize cost strategies

  • Conduct market research and contribute to strategic planning

  • Present growth initiatives and cross-sell across divisions

  • Travel frequently to meet clients and maintain relationships

  • Ensure quality standards and resolve discrepancies

  • Candidate Requirements

  • 4+ years of cement trading experience preferred

  • Strong negotiation, problem-solving, and communication skills

  • BA/BS in Business or related field preferred

  • Able to work independently and in cross-functional teams

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and ERP systems

  • Skilled in market research and statistical analysis

  • Demonstrates integrity, leadership, and entrepreneurial mindset
