Job Description
We’re looking for a curious, hands-on chemistry / biotechnology / chemical engineering intern who enjoys solving real problems. At altM, you’ll work on translating biomass into functional materials, ranging from lignin-based performance additives to next-gen material streams, alongside a highly applied R&D team.
Responsibilities:
Support synthesis, formulation, and material development experiments
Work with analytical tools (HPLC, GC-MS, NMR, IR - depending on exposure)
Help design, run, and troubleshoot experiments
Maintain clean and reliable lab records and data
Read literature and contribute with your ideas - curiosity is valued here
Requirements:
A recent graduate or postgraduate in engineering or pure sciences
Nice to have: Prior lab and project experience and internships
Comfortable in a lab and eager to learn fast
Detail-oriented, safety-first, and hands-on
Excited by applied science and real-world scale-up challenges
