The Loop Hydrometallurgy group is conducting world-leading research in clean minerals processing technology. The Halion Loop can efficiently extract and recover critical metals - copper, nickel, cobalt, rare earths - and other metals such as gold, silver, platinum group metals, zinc and lead.

Based out of the Macquarie University DeepTech Incubator, Loop Hydrometallurgy is conducting a three-year commercialisation program including laboratory, pilot plant and demonstration plant research. This is an exciting programme of cutting-edge industrial R&D.
