R&D Software Testing

Siemens Mobility is seeking a R&D Software Testing Engineer for the Railway Signaling sector located in Tres Cantos, Community of Madrid, Spain.

• Assume assigned responsibilities during the software verification and testing phases.
• Ensure requirements traceability throughout the product life cycle.
• Develop test specifications aligned to requirements.
• Implement test automation and continuous integration for automated testing execution.
• Work in an international and multidisciplinary team.
• Innovate and research new technologies applied to products.

• Software Engineer (Computer Science, Industrial, Telecommunications or similar).
• Minimum 3 years of experience in testing projects.
• Desirable experience in testing automation including scripting and configuration of tools for automatic testing.

• Configuration management tools such as Subversion, Synergy.
• Automatic testing and continuous integration tools (Jenkins, SonarQube).
• Requirements and traceability management tools (Doors, Confluence).
• Assembly and maintenance of environments.
• SIL2 development techniques (CENELEC 50128:2011).

• Effective collaboration across multiple geographic locations.
• Strong communication skills and results-oriented approach.
• Good level of technical English and Spanish, spoken and written.
• Leadership and organization.
• Innovative spirit and motivation to develop R&D work in new technologies.
